1. Mrs. Walton’s Class This week in: We are learning: Important Reminders
Reading: This week, we will focus on our Scott Foresman Kindergarten reading curriculum. We will focus on the big book, The Wheels on the Bus- which will be incorporated into reading, writing, and phonemic awareness. I will begin meeting with the students in small groups during center time, Writing: We will begin work together on writing with my modeling proper writing techniques.
Math: We will continue focusing on counting objects, writing numbers, and learning number words. Please continue to visit the website on the class webpage to focus on these skills.
*Just a reminder- there is NO SCHOOL on Friday, due to staff professional development.
*Please make sure that you visit our class webpage weekly, as well as check in how your child is doing on the Class Dojo app.
Important Reminders
~Please make sure that your child uses the bathroom before school. We have a new system in place where children will only go to the bathroom independently once in the morning and once on the afternoon.
