4 Martin Luther King Jr. Pastor of a Baptist church. Meetings at the church were to plan a protest against segregation. December 5 th 1955, people (blacks and some whites) refused to ride city busses. 7 Results of the Boycott Segregation was ruled unconstitutional by the Supreme court. 381 days since the beginning, the Montgomery bus boycott ended. The most successful uprising in history.
