2
Data submission solutions
A request for a dedicated JRC FTP-server for (new and existing) in-use driving data collection from all Contracting Parties of WLTP has been submitted Ideas for the server specifications: Minimum size 2000 Gb List of pre-defined users (20) Wltp_us1 / password1 (ID and Password linked to the folder) Wltp_us2 / password2 (ID and Password linked to the folder) Etc... Each user should be able to see only its own folder + 1 shared folder Interface: via FTP client software or possibly web browser
3
Screening of EC in-use data
Data collected with Portable Activity Monitoring Systems (PAMS) Vehicles in Italy Vehicles in Germany Vehicles in Slovenia Average of 3 months of activity / vehicle Data from the on-road emissions tests (PEMS) 10 Vehicles in Italy Same test routes for all vehicles (1 rural/urban, 1 motorway) Average of 10 hours of data / vehicle, including emissions Where are we now?
4
Screening of Data collected with PAMS
Verification of data integrity Use of ‘Counter’ to define the recording sequences The counter is restarted every time the engine is turned on, i.e. for every trip Presence and consistency of mandatory parameters: vehicle speed, engine speed Presence and consistency of GPS data Subdivision of data set in trips Basic trip statistics Where are we now?
5
Data collected with PAMS: Next steps
Estimation of road type when possible Urban/Rural/Motorway Will be attributed to individual short trips, using the vehicle speed Spot checks will be conducted using the GPS data and maps Calculation of gear changes [Optional] Final step (February): to import the (verified) trip data into the standard reporting templates. A different identifier will be used for each trip (e.g. the trip file id) Where are we now?
6
Complementary in-use data collection campaigns
Use of PAMS technology 4 countries 10 vehicles / country Minimum duration of 2 months Possible countries: Greece, Spain, Poland, Hungary, Turkey Where are we now?
