8 Do housework vs. do homework
You do housework at home. It means clean up, do the washing, do the ironing. Homework is the task you are given at school, on a course. Don’t forget to do your Italian homework! Do exercise vs. do exercises Exercises are short tasks in a coursebook. This word is countable. Exercise (uncountable) means physical activity, e.g. working out at the gym. Do you do a lot of exercise? How often do you do exercise?

9 Make a decision vs. make up your mind
You make a decision after some thinking and discussion. If it a serious matter, you can say take a decision. Now we need to make a decision about where we want to live. You make up your mind when you have a few choices and after thinking for some time. Which one do you want? Hurry up and make up your mind!

10 Practice Yulia is always late and she’s always __________ funny excuses, like ‘I had to take my capybara to the vet’. I hate __________housework, but I don’t mind washing up at the weekend. I try to __________ my English homework every day. I’m all sore, I __________a lot of exercise in the gym yesterday.
