Fall, 2005 ISOBUS Awareness.... the Agricultural Communications, Control & Networking ISO standard Part 1. Hans Nissen of JDZW to do follow up during Oct visits to the various factories. The original ppt was developed by Sam Freesmeyer of AgCo for the Brazil consortium that is considering ISOBUS. After Naiitf & IGI concurrence, it was presented at in Ribeirão Preto on May 18, Agri-Show 2005 Trip report (ISOBUS Presentation at Agri-Show 2005.doc) This particlar ppt is being developed for the FEMA annual meeting at Las Vegas in Nov The plan is to complete it for Naiitf approval before that meeting. ISOBUS in Brazil May 2005 – Agrishow Meeting
Fall, 2005 ISOBUS in Brazil May 2005 – Agrishow Meeting At Ribeirão Preto on May 18, 2005 Organized by researchers from São Paulo University and Embrapa Supported by the national associations for farm equipment and machinery manufacturers, the major global Agricultural Equipment companies, and by ABNT, the Brazilian Standards Organization Aftermath: Brazilian interest in ISOBUS has increased significantly. Articles have been published in several major magazines. On July 28, 2005, a similar presentation was made at the Ag Engineers congress, which had a more academic audience. Perhaps the most significant result is that ABNT (Brazilian Standards Organization) has called a meeting on the 15th of August with all the participants of the Agrishow meeting to discuss the actions to introduce ISOBUS in Brazil. The meeting will be held and coordinated by ABIMAQ (Implement manufacturers association). NAIITF Fall, 2005
