3. Begin creating an Application Account with Open CCC
Begin creating an Application Account with Open CCC. Students who previously created an Open CCC account may sign in here.
The application process consists of two phases. In phase I, students create an account with Open CCC, the application provider sponsored by the Chancellor’s Office.

4. For help with any part of the application, click on the “HELP” button at the top right corner of the page.
Open CCC support is available at or by clicking the link visible in the “HELP” information.

Students will provide their identifying information to Open CCC. This allows them to establish a unique account that can be utilized to apply to Butte College as well as other California community colleges.

6. Write down the user name & password that have just been established for the Open CCC account.

Read and check “consent” boxes to proceed.
When Open CCC account has been successfully completed,

Students are applying for a term that begins after they graduate from high school
On the Education page students will select their College Enrollment Status from the drop-down choices. For most Reg2Go students the choice will be “First-time student in college (after leaving high school)” even if the student has been concurrently enrolled at Butte College

14. Successful applicants receive an email from Butte College
upon completion of their application

After successfully completing and submitting their Butte College application students are admitted within 2 or 3 business days. When admitted they receive an containing their Student ID, User Name, Butte College address and Password.
