1 Lab Report Write-Up 1) Must be in blue or black ink (hand written or typed on computer/type writer). 2) Only write on one side of the paper for lab reports! 3) No fringes! 4) No copying!! Will be dealt with like cheating on a test! Student will receive a zero and will be sent to office as a discipline referral!

2 Lab Reports will Include the Following in the Following Order
Title page *** if a report has a diagram page this is where it would go. 2) Data Page 3) Calculation Page (computer print-out goes behind this page whenever possible). 4) Conclusion Page (any graphs or documentation goes behind this page whenever possible).

3 Title Page (separate page)
(all of this is to be located Name: the top right-hand corner of Partner’s names: your paper) Date: Period #: Title of Lab (centered) Skip at least one line here! Purpose: (why you are doing the lab)

4 Data Page (separate page)
Data should be entered in a table-like format whenever possible. Number your data whenever possible. Lines must be skipped between data!

5 Calculation Page (separate page)
Calculations must be lettered. Each calculation must have the following whenever possible: 1) heading 2) formula 3) code 4) plug in 5) answer with units (rounded to the correct number of sig figs and rounding rules discussed in class). Lines must be skipped between calculations!

6 Conclusions Page (separate page)
What can you conclude from your results? Answers to specific questions asked by the teacher. Do not include the actual question, but build it into your answer. Must be done in complete, coherent sentences (in order of the questions asked).
