Executive Body Selection
As per rules defined by Department of Computer Science and Engineering, all current and new executive members of Software Square Society are to going be reselected or selected soon. After verifying their eligibility criteria after reading “By Laws of Societies working in CSE Department” , all current members and interested candidates submit their applications on following group Link, for their final Selection:

By Laws of Societies working in CSE Department
All student societies (ACM, Software Square, Microsoft Student Partner or any other) are being dissolved until they adhere to following code of conduct. They are further bar to perform any activities in department or outside of department. A student society (SS) should be register with DA (Departmental affairs). For Registration , following items are required Purpose, Objectives and Mandate of the society. Organizational Structure and minimum qualification. Membership process. Officers Duties. Organization structure of SS should have following mandatory posts President Secretary Treasury Faculty Advisor Mandatory post should only hold by the 1st, 2nd and 3rd year students. SS should hold yearly election in month of December to select office bearers. All office bearers of the society should have CGPA greater than 3.0 SS should not plan any random and surprise events. The entire event should be planed before a semester. After approval of DA, SS will publish their activity calendar of next six month at the end of each semester. The activity calendar should not be conflicted with departmental activities (see departmental activities and SS role). Department of CSE has planned following three events in a year. After every Mid Term of Each Semester, In House Programming and In House Circuit Design Competition. Annual all Pakistan Technology Event. It is required and mandatory for all SS to participate actively in these events. For every event, with approval of Chairman, DA will setup an event management committee which will consist of members of SS, Faculty members and non SS members. A Monthly meeting of society should be held to monitor the progress of planned actives. The minutes of the meeting should be submitted to DA. DA will hold a joint meeting twice in a semester (before midterm and before final term) with mandatory office bearers of all societies.
