Evaluation / Communication
Your child will receive their first report card in November. It will be based on: Observations in class Evaluations Final projects At the end of the reporting period, you will be invited to come and meet with us so we can discuss your child’s accomplishments. In the meantime, please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns.

Homework Homework will be given on Monday (or 1st school day) for the week. (In order to allow flexibility with afterschool/evening activities.) It will include a combination of reading and math (games/ websites/ flash cards). If there are any difficulties or questions with homework, please let us know as soon as possible. Homework should not take any more than 10 minutes in total.

Communications I am looking forward to this school year. It is always one of my goals to keep parent-teacher communication as open as possible via monthly newsletters, notes in homework folder and phone calls.
