Pablo Ruiz y Picasso, also known as Pablo Picasso, was a spanish painter, sculptor, printmaker, ceramicist, stage designer, poet and playwright who spent most of his life in France. Picasso was born October 25,1881 in Spain and then died April 8, 1973 in France. He was influenced by a lot of people like van Gough, Goya, and Cezanne. He also influenced some artist like Dali, Braque, and Miro.

Context: Picasso was furious at the part of the Spanish government for giving the order to let Nazi’s bomb the town of Guernica at the busiest market hour. It was an experiment designed to determine how much it would take for a town to get blown to oblivion.
