Guiding principles Accreditation requirements are in fact requirements and while a program’s accreditation is supported need to be met. Tenure density and any other quantitative variable should be using a common definition between colleges. Programmatic needs that call for variances between colleges/departments should be explained. Requests from colleges should reflect forward planning. Fundamental needs shouldn’t be a moving target.
