8 Significance of the Norman Invasion
Normans The significance of the Battle of Hastings and Norman Invasion forever changed English language and culture. Old English and Norman French blended to produce our current English language. Feudalism was brought to England.

9 Conclusion See class demonstration of pouring yellow water into blue water A new color was created….green. This symbolized how the Anglo-Saxon English mixed with Norman French and over time created our modern English language.
