3 Theme The “Wear It” message is supported by national partners including Coast Guard and National Safe Boating Council. The “Wear It New England” Campaign will leverage Coast Guard and NSBC resources and marketing. The collaborative national campaign website is: Theme: “Wear It” messaging and branding National collaborative effort with CG, NSBC

4 District Strategy Use of district website for information on campaign, down-loadable logos, media release information. Use district online magazine, Nor’Easter, for primarily internal messaging to members. Identify district contact and lead coordinating PA, PB and CS, and coordination with D1 Public Affairs. Identify campaign as key goal with district captains and ASCs, seek support and coordination at division level. Challenge district>division>local staff officers to integrate “Wear It” message and “Wear It New England” into missions and report such activities through chain of leadership. Identify “champions” of campaign at flotilla level. Brand “Wear It” message locally and “Wear It New England” in Auxiliary missions.

Wear It New England branding Gubernatorial proclamations and state house events Looking Forward: District-wide events led by Divisions and Flotillas Looking Forward - District-wide events led by Divisions and Flotillas.

7 Local Coordination: The Unit RBS Team
This is another reason having a complete RBS team is important (VE, PV, PE and UPV) – each unit, especially divisions should have these staff officers to liaison and coordinate.

8 State Coordination High profile events in states (emphasis is on each state to use the tools, resources and district staff to spread the message of “Wear It” and “pass-the-word.” How? DCAPTs, ASCs, SLOs, DCDRs and district staff. Maine Massachusetts New Hampshire Rhode Island District-wide media outreach and PSA campaign – broader outreach will be coordinated at EXCOM level with D1 PA. High profile events within states – collaboration and coordination RBS cooperative agreements - SLOs NSBW and Wear It-NE state proclamations - SLOs NSBW and Wear It-NE localized proclamations – DCDRs and FCs
