2. What are triggers?
Triggers are the mechanisms that make hazards go out of control.
If you think about this, it makes sense.
Hazards have the potential to cause harm.
But so long as we’re managing them, we’re perfectly safe.
There has to be something that causes the hazard to go out of control.
That something is a triggering mechanism!
Triggers release the hazard and make them go out of control.

3. Examples of triggers Poor housekeeping Unattended cigarettes
Dodgy electrical cabling
Foggy driving conditions
Ignition sources
Metal fatigue

I bet you probably call them “hazards”.
