5. How we do it Clear trees, split wood, and deliver to those in need
100% of the wood is donated from community members!
Set meeting schedule – every Tuesday and Saturday morning
Volunteers use their own tools, equipment and trucks

Community Navigator identifies potential recipients through an application process
21 residents already identified for this season
This past winter delivered over 40 cords of
wood to 35 different households

7. Keys to success Having somebody with ears to the ground
Work with town office and local churches as sources of information
Set up volunteer commission to collect various types of community needs
Go directly to those that need help
Have fun & get some exercise while at it!
