Are there enough Deaf people using IAPT for us to run a trial?

What should the clinical cut-offs be for Deaf BSL users who are assessed using BSL assessment tools?

GAD-7 BSL and PHQ-9 BSL
Valid
Reliable
But…… can’t assume clinical cut-off score is same as for hearing people using the English assessment tools.
We know there can be cultural differences.

We compared data from Deaf BSL users with no mental health difficulties with data from Deaf people who have used BSL IAPT.
Both groups used the BSL IAPT assessment tools.

To see if they are similar kinds of people as those who have used BSL Healthy Minds.
To compare their outcomes with those who have used BSL Healthy Minds.
