1 A PowerPoint Team Builder Game
Rules

2 Sample Puzzle Start Rules of Wheel of Fortune
The objective of this game is to accumulate more points than all the other teams or players. Begin by determining the team/player turn order. Players spin the wheel to determine the point value they will be playing for (click once on the “SPIN “ button to start the wheel, and again on the button to stop it). Note: If the spin lands on “Skip Turn” the team/player loses their opportunity to select a consonant, and the game moves on to the next team/player. SCORING POINTS FOR SELECTING A CONSONANT: If the spin lands on a number, the team/player moves to the puzzle and can select a consonant. If the selected consonant appears once within the puzzle, the points on the original spin are awarded to that team or player . If the consonant appears multiple times within the puzzle, the original point value is multiplied by the number of times the letter appears. For example, if the original spin equals 3, and the consonant selected appears twice in the puzzle, the team/player is awarded 6 points. If the consonant is not found within the puzzle NO points are awarded , and the games moves on to the next team/player. SCORING POINTS FOR SOLVING THE PUZZLE: If the team/player selects a consonant during their turn which appears in the puzzle, they are also be given one opportunity to solve the puzzle. If they succeed at solving the puzzle, they are awarded an additional 10 points. If they fail to solve the puzzle, 3 points are deducted from their overall score. BUYING A VOWEL: Teams/Players have an opportunity to buy (1) vowel during their turn, and after they have spun the wheel. Vowels, of course, will serve to help the team solve the puzzle, and can be purchased for 3 points. Teams are not penalized if the vowel is not found in the puzzle. Sample Puzzle Start

7 How to create a puzzle Caution: Work from a copy of this file, so that if an error occurs, the original file is still intact . “Zoom Out” (found under VIEW) on the puzzle to show all the available letters. Do NOT change or edit any of the letters in the black textboxes. Enter a puzzle title or clue above the puzzle. Drag the black textboxes containing the letters onto the yellow board and place each within a yellow square. Add any punctuation marks from above the puzzle as needed (Punctuation marks will not be hidden when the puzzle is first revealed). Operating the Puzzle When the puzzle is initially shown, the letters within it will not appear. Clicking on a letter at the bottom of the slide will reveal ALL of that particular letter, found in your puzzle.
