Ivy is literally dressed in plants, showing both her talent and earthy nature. Even her scarf is green and twines around her in a vinelike fashion. Her hair style suggest a vaguely floral motif and is bright red in contrast to her green ensemble. The widowj’s peak is a classic villain (or “bad girl”) motif. The background is vague and surreal, suggesting her incipient madness.

The font and color of the background text suggests madness and violence at the same time. Joker’s makeup is a clown gone horribly wrong, indicating his past as an intelligent, normal human being who has been twisted by circumstances (and in this case a heavy dose of toxic chemicals.) The purple suit suggests royalty, reflecting his role as the king of bad guys, while he holds a joker in his hand, reminding us how much he loves to play tricks and games.
