Why Shot by Shot? We live in a time when there is more fear from theorized side effects from vaccines than from the diseases themselves. Shot by Shot was designed to help bring vaccine-preventable diseases to life by moving beyond just facts and data and humanizing the diseases. What is Shot by Shot: Stories of Vaccine-Preventable Diseases? Shot by Shot is a collection of videos and stories from people who have been touched by vaccine-preventable diseases. The collection forms an online storybank to be used for education, training, and awareness purposes. Two Main Facets to Shot by Shot: 1. Gathering Stories The website has a number of kits and storytelling tools to help people share their story in an easy and powerful way. Right now there are over 90 stories on from survivors of diseases, loved ones, and providers. 2. Using the Stories The stories are available for you to incorporate into your education and training efforts. Over 15,500 visits, Over 44,000 page views. All of the states in the US and 50 countries. Stories have had a wide range of uses from being made into DVDs that play on a loop in a physician and clinic waiting rooms, to being shown at PTA meetings, incorporated into websites, and included in physician and MA lectures.
