it is sometimes tempting to key in the 3 first since it comes first as you read left to right that is not correct!

The number in front of the house is the divisor. Always divide by the divisor.

The answer times the bottom number should equal the top number.

What could we possibly put as the answer? No matter what we put, when we multiply it by zero we willl get zero, not 6. Division by zero is undefined!
