1. The pitch session is very compact
The pitch session is very compact. The audience has to switch between topics very quickly. Therefore, we use this template to unite all the presentations visually. The common styling helps to focus on the content rather than on the layout differences. Please try to keep your pitch simple and use it as a teaser and invitation to your workshop and booth.
The pitch follows a very strict timing. You may not use more than 120 seconds (excl. this slide). In order to avoid time consuming switching of computers all of your slides will be compiled into a video one day before the seminar starts. There will be no more chance to edit anything on site.
When the pitch session starts, please take a seat next to the windows and be prepared to pitch in the given order. Otherwise you will loose your slot. We will announce the ordering on Monday in the morning. It will be possible to rehearse the pitch session at 11:30. You may also have a look at the pitch training with students starting at 10:00.
This slide will be shown for exactly 7 seconds. Please indicate the name of the speaker and the name of your company/product either by text or using a logo.
You may already start talking as soon as it appears. In case the previous speaker is still on the stage, feel free kick him/her away by this time 
Sessions will be separated by a special slide lasting for 5 seconds.

Feel free to include videos, animations and pictures.
If you have videos, please convert all videos to mp4 or wmv (e.g. using ffmpeg).
If you have animations, please set automatic timing for them… there will be no presenter/mouse at the FF session.
We record all pitches including the slides and use them further for marketing purposes of the EXPO. Therefore, you should only use content under appropriate license, or you own. I.e., you must be permitted to transfer copyright for commercial usage to 3rd party for an unlimited period of time, including derivatives. By submitting this Pitch Deck you perform such copyright transfer to the seminar organizers. Please contact Martin in case of any questions or issues
