2. Joining the Polar Cloud
Our lab uses the Polar Cloud to manage printers and print jobs. This section will show you how to create an account and how to join the 3DPC lab group.

3. Create an account at https://polar3d.com/
Sign in using your preferred authentication method
Your Purdue is recommended (using Office 365)

4. Go to the groups page 1
Click on the menu icon in the upper left hand corner of the window (1)
Click on the Groups button in the menu (2) 1 2 2

5. Join the 3DPC Group Click the Join button
Enter the join code: DLF6BMJK
You have now joined the 3DPC Group! 1 2 2 1

6. If This Then That (IFTTT)
It is recommended that you set up IFTTT so you can receive text and/or notifications with updates to your print job(s). The setup process only takes a few minutes, but you can skip this step if you wish.

7. Join IFTTT at https://ifttt.com/
Create an account using your preferred
Click on the Search button
Search for Polar3D
Click on the Polar3D service 1 1 2 3 2 3

8. Link IFTTT With your Polar Cloud Account
Click Connect to ask IFTTT to link with your Polar Cloud Account
IFTTT will ask the Polar Cloud for permission
You may have to enter your Polar Cloud Credentials
Once you have granted permission, simply choose the services you wish to use and follow the instructions in IFTTT to set them up 1 1

9. Using the Polar Cloud
The Polar Cloud is a powerful platform with many features designed to make 3D printing easier. Getting to know the interface and investing some time into understanding how to load your own object onto the build platform and queue it to a printer will be worth while
