Currently most service directories are public facing offering general information to people who may need little or no assistance with accessing those services what seems to be missing was key information for professional Adur & Worthing Directory of Services was developed to offer a district & borough wide register of local and current services for professional supporting & working with individuals The need for service information

This application also includes an option to make a referral directly to the service while with the person The information can be used without specialized knowledge to provide a holistic way to support people This can access by front-line workers in a range of roles across a number of organisations, either on a computer or a mobile device The need for service information

Some services don't always want to share their staff information publicly as potentially becoming overwhelmed with the demand. But for professionals this becomes a real barrier to access the info. We can reassure all services that their information will not be made public Access to directory information

7 Within the Directory, detailed descriptions are provided of what the service ‘offer’ is .
Allowing professionals to quickly match the ‘needs’ of the person to the service ‘offer’ The Application also includes youtube intro clips to encourage access the programmes,services where people might not have the confidence to attend and data to be kept up to date Service Information

8 Service Information The Application has a registration process
Other offers that can also be accessed such as training for staff And we are currently working on how we can receive confirmation from the services about how the referral has gone Service Information
