I could get additional University funds to support my project.
If I use in-kind faculty salary I can keep better track of faculty effort/availability.

4. Why wouldn’t I cost share
I have to spend these funds the same way as the sponsor says I have to spend their funds

6. Who approves cost sharing: At Department?
Faculty member should weigh options and decide if their RESIN funds and the department’s support makes up 1/3 of the request.
At College?
Use eGIF and route two weeks prior to sponsor deadline. DivAD reviews and decides.
At University?
College helps request from UMOR if at or over $30K by using eGIF.
