2. Whitley is situated in the Northwest of England in the county of Cheshire.

3. The nearest cities are Liverpool (35 km) and Manchester (29km). Withley Village School

4. The nearest towns are Northwich, Stockton Heath, which is a really a large village with quite a few shops and Warrington which are about 3 miles away. There are no shops in Whitley as it is a very small village.

7. Our school was built in the Victorian Era in 1875. There was only one classroom and the schoolmasters house when it was built. Whitley is a very old village that dates back to the Doomsday Book. Here are some pictures of the village. The Village Hall

14. Because Whitley is a very small village a lot of the children come from surrounding areas with many of them coming from the village of Dutton. Here are some pictures of Dutton. They travel to school either by school bus or car. The canal at Dutton

16. This is the area where a lot of the children live in houses like this or similar but we also have a lot of children who live on farms.

17. The nearest beach to us is probably in Wales which is about 84 km away. Llandudno
