KPIs Q4 2015/16

2 RAO FINANCIAL REPORTING – QUARTER 4 2015/16
Summary: Q4, cost statement submissions continued to increase to an annual high of 156. Outstanding Cost statements over 2 months have dropped again in Q4, by 23% to 36. Full Year Cost statement submissions are 483, below the target of 520. However H2 had 285 CS’s submitted over 198 in H1. The major contributing factors in the RAO performance in Q4 include; 1 Grade 4 post remained vacant in Q4. A fully resourced unit at this time would have seen a higher performance level achieved across the RAO KPI’s. The RAO are continuing to focus on PI reporting support rather than being Funder focussed. The RAO ended FY15/16 with 2 vacancies. There are a currently 3 vacant posts in the RAO. While every effort is being made with HR to fill these posts, this reduced resource position is expected to adversely effect RAO outputs in Q1 16/17.

4 Accounts on Agresso Commentary:
The number of accounts on Agresso fallen slightly by 14 but remains above 2,500 accounts. “Non-Budget” accounts have risen from 683 to 713 or 28% of all accounts. The number of accounts being opened continues to grow. 170 opened in Q4 and the 2 year average is 146. The RAO have closed 184 in Q4, just ahead of the number of accounts opened, at 170. The administration and management of the ‘Non Budget’ accounts continues to be ‘resource hungry’ for the RAO
