I will be able to: create a poster and a presentation
So that I can: complete my own statistical project to connect what I learned previously to my own real world scenario I will show that I understood it by completing my poster and presentation with my group to successfully create our own statistical project with at least 80% accuracy. 6.SP. Language Objective By the end of the lesson, students will be able to communicate the academic math language of statistics. They will be able to use the statistical data they collected to analyze, summarize, and display their data. They will show their understanding by analyzing the numerical data with their group to prepare their presentation with at least 80% accuracy. Academic Math Language Vocabulary: : data, statistical data collection tool, analyze, summarize, graphical model, dot plot, box and whiskers, histogram

Developing a Statistical Project (as a review)
Over the past few days, you have been working in a small group to apply the skills you have learned from statistics to create and implement your own statistical project. Your group will: Create a statistical question. Determine a data collection tool. Gather the data using the collection tool from at least 50 students. Organize the data you have collected and graph the data in at least 2 different ways. Utilize the graphs to answer your statistical question. Create a visual (poster) that includes your statistical question, graphs, measures of center and variability (mean, median, mode, MAD, range) Prepare a presentation
