1 Demo Abstract: 6TiSCH in Full Bloom: From Dynamic Resource Management to Cloud-based Network Analytics Tao Gong1, Huayi Ji1, Tianyu Zhang2,4, Jianwei Zhou3, Xiaolin Lu3, Xiaobo Sharon Hu4, Song Han1 1University of Connecticut 2Northeastern University, China 3Texas Instruments 4University of Notre Dame

2 Background A real-time wireless protocol to support emerging industrial 4.0 applications Based on IPv6 and the TSCH mode of e

3 System Architecture of the Demo
6TiSCH real-time wireless stack Dynamic network management functions Cloud-based network analytics platform 6TiSCH real-time wireless stack deployed on the cc2650 sensortags Dynamic network management functions runs at gateway software, at beaglebone black embedded platform Finally we have cloud-base analytics platform. The analytics platform is more focused on network data such as topology, network stability, packet error ratio. The analytics framework monitors those heath information of the network and all the information are visualized from a web interface

4 Web Interface of the Gateway
Web Interface of the Cloud Platform Here shows the picture and screencaptures of our system Sensortags powered by usb hub Topology display from the gateway, as well as sensor measurements Visualization from the cloud platform

5 Demo of Dynamic Network Management
Functional validation of FD-PaS 7 cc2538 nodes A Fully Distributed Packet Scheduling Framework for Handling Disturbances in Real-Time Wireless Networks. 8-channel logic analyzer

6 FD-PaS Validation Use a logic analyzer to capture the radio activities from a pin of each node Packet preemption V0 V1 V2 Vc V3 V4 V5 Slotframe (Nominal mode) Slotframe (Rhythmic mode)

7 Demo of Network Analytics Platform
At the cloud-based analytics platform. We are able to gather all sensor data as well as network data from different networks. We have different network deployed at Texas Instruments Kilby lab as well as university of Connecticut lab Here it shows a screencapture where we can select a network to monitor

8 Demo of Network Analytics Platform
At the cloud-based analytics platform. We are able to gather all sensor data as well as network data from different networks. We have different network deployed at Texas Instruments Kilby lab as well as university of Connecticut lab Here it shows a screencapture where we can select a network to monitor

9 Demo Abstract: Industrial IoT Field Gateway Design for Heterogeneous Process Monitoring and Control
Tao Gong1, Shaobo Zheng1, Mark Nixon2, Eric Rotvold2, Song Han1 1University of Connecticut 2Emerson Automation Solutions The second demonstration I’m going to present is entitled: It’s a joint project of uconn and emerson

10 Vision of industrial IoT
Here presents our vision of industrial IoT At the bottom part, it shows multiple different sensors deployed at the field, and connected using different wired/wireless technologies In the middle, all different sensor networks are connected to a TCP/IP network At the top left part, several data servers and management servers are running. These form our conventional industrial network At the top right part, the cloud service is hosted to do 1,2,3 and 4 Right in between the conventional industrial network and the cloud network, a Field Gateway is developed to do the protocol conversion

11 System Architecture Based on Azure IoT gateway reference design
DataConcentrator Module Device mapping and IoT hub Web-based configuration interface Here shows the architecture of our Field Gateway Configure device and subscribe data Map the unique device ID to device keys used by IoT Configuration interface

12 Demonstration setup Describe what they can see and can try

13 Thank you and welcome to our booth!
