1 Creating a StoryMap Web

2 Knight Lab Browse to https://storymap.knightlab.com/
Log onto the computers and go to the Story Map website. Browse to

3 Knightlab Click the option to “Make a storymap now”

4 Type a title and hit create
Movie Locations

5 Name your title slide and click on ADD SLIDE
Name your title slide and click on ADD SLIDE. (You can go back later and make this prettier.)

6 Add the first location

7 Add a link to the photo - you can use: https://upload. wikimedia

9 Using the search bar on the map, search for the location (Tikal Park in Guatemala)

10 Set the ZOOM level on your map to desired height.

11 You can change options for the map display from the Options tab.

12 Preview the slide to see that it looks the way you want
Preview the slide to see that it looks the way you want. Click ADD SLIDE to add the next location.

13 The SHARE button will give students a link to share their final product.

14 Students can also find embed codes here to post onto a blog or into a post.
