Introduction
There is no need for me to tell you what you already know:
there are a number of point cloud formats in different technical domains…
there are more than you probably realize;
point clouds can be really difficult to access and analyze in their “raw” state or even encoded in an interchange format; and
there are a lot of interested parties in this conversation.
So, the goal for today is to identify the most pressing needs in the point cloud community where the OGC can assist.
