3. Geographical situation.
The Protected Landscape Vallebrón is located in the municipalities of La Oliva and Puerto del Rosario, about 30 kilometers from the resort of Corralejo, on the island of Fuerteventura.

5. Why is this protected?
This protected landscape has an area of nearly 1680 hectares and is at a minimum altitude of 145 meters. The Protected Landscape Vallebrón is characterized by a beautiful knife relief, which gives it a great landscape value. In addition, it also has a good level of scientific importance because it is home to species of wild animals that are endangered. The extreme east part of the landscape corresponds to the known Muda Mountain, where there is a small archaeological site with a very peculiar burial system.
