T ACTIVITY 3 – Fine Motor Skills Activity Materials:
Different colours of playdough. Directions: Students create different things or shapes with the coloured playgough. Alternative Fine Motor Skills Activities: Have students trace their names in sand on a baking sheet. Provide the spelling of their names. Sort coloured paperclips into coloured baskets. Students will sort each paperclip into the matching coloured basket. Students could also sort small objects with interesting textures like cotton balls, pastas, sponges or rocks into baskets. Students could put objects through a slit, like coins or buttons into a container with a slit in the lid. Practise building things using blocks or logs. Sort feelings faces (happy, sad, mad and scared) into matching baskets. Label each basket with a specific feelings face. Then, create small pictures of each type of feelings faces (around 4 pictures per a feeling face) and cut them out. Sticker fun! Use any tracing worksheet and place tiny stickers along the edges. Scissors Skills! Have students cut out straight and curvy lines.
