If you want to run for office, write a paragraph stating the office you are seeking and explaining the qualifications you have for this office. This will be posted during voting.
Turn your paper in to a sponsor by Friday, April 13th.
Voting will be during school on Wednesday, April 18th.

5. DUTIES OF THE PRESIDENT
It shall be the duty of the President to preside at the meetings for this chapter. The President works with the chapter adviser to finalize the agenda for each meeting. In addition, the president appoints leaders of chapter committees formed during the year.
You are eligible if you will be in 6th grade next year.

6. DUTIES OF THE VICE-PRESIDENT
The Vice-President shall preside in the absence of the President and shall also keep a record of members’ contributions in the area of service, providing regular reports on these activities to the chapter and the principal.

7. DUTIES OF THE SECRETARY
The Secretary shall keep the minutes of the meetings and shall be responsible for all official correspondence of the chapter.
DUTIES OF THE TREASURER
The Treasurer shall work closely with the chapter advisor to keep the record of expenses, dues, and all other financial transactions of the chapter and shall report to the chapter on these matters. These duties extend to any project where monies are collected.
