The State of The System There are two growing ability gaps in the American Educational system. American students are not learning the skills that will be critical in the 21st century global economy. There are seven survival skills that must be implemented for US students to compete.

3 Questions If the United States continues to provide the world with innovations, inventions and entrepreneurial ventures, is the educational system really that broken? Is comparing the educational success/failure of the United States with other countries such as Finland appropriate? How do we incorporate inquiry based learning into an educational system increasingly forced to test due to NCLB?
