6. Dualistic Understanding of the Body.
As we looked at earlier, Plato distrusted the senses and the knowledge that we get from them
he saw the person as deeply divided. Plato saw the body and soul inconflict with eachother.
He felt that the body imprisoned the soul. This is known as a dualistic understanding of the human person.
