Use Tool Chooser if you are not sure which Decision Focus tool to use. It is a quick process to assess the critical issue you are facing and help you choose the appropriate tool for analysis. If you are clear on where to begin, click on the ‘Do it’ tab in the Decision Focus Coach and go directly to that tool. If you are unsure which tool to use, select the Tool Chooser.

2. Decision Focus® 5.0 TOOL CHOOSER Describe the issue you are facing.
Read the text that describes the purpose of each tool.
Select the option that most closely ‘fits’ your issue and click ‘Open Selected Tool’. This takes you to Step 1 of that tool.

Tool Chooser will help you:
Clarify your end result quickly and effectively.
Engage your critical thinking process.
Assess, point and click to begin.
Use the ‘overview’ description of the tools to see the ‘big’ picture.
Lead your team through initial definition.
Diagnose the ‘type’ of issue you are facing.
Avoid excessive meeting time to define a critical issue.
