3 Comment #472 (1/2) Decision: Accept-Modified
The MIH_3GLINK_SAP currently works as an umbrella that encompasses primitives for cellular technologies such as 3GPP (e.g. GSM/EGPRS, FDD W-CDMA) and 3GPP2 (e.g. IS-95, cdma2000) A short sentence is needed in the specification to clarify the usage of this SAP (see next page) 3

4 Comment #472 (2/2) Resolution Page 31, line 41
Replace the text as follows: MIH_3GLINK_SAP This SAP works as an umbrella that defines the interface between the MIHF and the different protocol elements of the cellular systems. The existing service primitives or media-specific SAPs as defined in 3GPP and 3GPP2 specifications may be directly mapped to MIHF services, and hence no new primitives need to be defined in these specifications. Table L-3 lists this mapping. Page 59, line 57 Replace the text “3GPP and 3GPP2 service primitives for GSM, UMTS, LAC, PPP and LTE…” by “3GPP and 3GPP2 service primitives for GSM/EGPRS, FDD W-CDMA, LAC, PPP and LTE…” 4
