"No one can serve two masters
"No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money” (Matt 6:24)

“Two things I ask of you, Lord; do not refuse me before I die: Keep falsehood and lies far from me; give me neither poverty nor riches, but give me only my daily bread. Otherwise, I may have too much and disown you and say, ‘Who is the Lord?’ Or I may become poor and steal, and so dishonour the name of my God” (Prov 30:7-9)

“The earth is the LORD's, and everything in it
“The earth is the LORD's, and everything in it. The world and all its people belong to him.” (Psalm 24:1)

Pillar One: Work For even when we were with you, we gave you this rule: "The one who is unwilling to work shall not eat." We hear that some among you are idle and disruptive. They are not busy; they are busybodies. Such people we command and urge in the Lord Jesus Christ to settle down and earn the food they eat” (2 Thess 3:10-12)

Pillar Two: Savings “The wise store up choice food and olive oil, but fools gulp theirs down.” (Proverbs 21:20)

Pillar Three: Avoid unwise debt "Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. Won't you first sit down and count the cost to see if you have enough money to complete it?” (Lk 14:28)

Pillar Four: Budgeting Be sure you know the condition of your flocks, give careful attention to your herds (Proverbs 27:23)

Pillar Five: Giving “The ground of a certain rich man yielded an abundant harvest. He thought to himself, ‘What shall I do? I have no place to store my crops.’ “Then he said, ‘This is what I’ll do. I will tear down my barns and build bigger ones, and there I will store my surplus grain…

…And I’ll say to myself, “You have plenty of grain laid up for many years. Take life easy; eat, drink and be merry.” “But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?’ “This is how it will be with whoever stores up things for themselves but is not rich toward God” (Lk 12:16-21)
