Monday, March 19th Topic: The Scientific Method
Today’s Task: Use this information to write a paragraph supporting or refuting the claims of the Airlift Shoe advertisement. How truthful is the advertisement based on the experiment? Be sure to include data! A competitor of the Airlifts Shoe wanted to dispute their advertised claims. The data presented below is from an experiment they conducted. The jump height of 5 people was measured with a meter stick. The people were then asked to put on Airlifts Shoes, and their jump height was re-measured. The table below describes the people used in the experiment and the bar graph shows their jump heights in cm. NAME GENDER Jan Female Markus Male Sammy Henry Rick

Tuesday, April 10th Topic: Gravity and The Atmosphere
Today’s Task: Answer the following questions. What keeps the earth in orbit? What keeps the moon in orbit? What affects Earth’s ocean tides? What tool is used to measure weight? Does your weight change depending on your location? Does your mass change depending on your location? What two things affect gravity the most? What is the most abundant gas in the atmosphere?
