1. VALID IDENTIFICATION FOR DEPOSITS MADE BY THIRD PARTIES
Dear Valued Customer,
In compliance with Section 23(7) of the Anti-Money Laundering Amendment Act 2014(Act 874), all third parties making a deposit into another person’s account will be required to provide a valid identification.
This means, with immediate effect, all SG Ghana branches will require any of the following identification from anyone who makes a deposit into your account:
• Voters ID
• Passport
• Driver’s license or
• SSNIT Biometric card
