Introduction Most people asked how do acid base reactions impact our lives? Every food and most things in our live has acids and bases. There are many chemical reaction between acids and bases for example: when you have stomach pain you drink magnesia milk to take away the pain. That is what happen in the stomach. 2HCl + Mg(OH) MgCl2 +2H2O.

Acids and Bases An acid is a chemical compound which it dissolvable in water, tastes sour, turns blue litmus paper to pink, and it has (H+). HCl H+ + Cl- A base is a chemical compound which it dissolvable in water, tastes bitter, turns pink litmus paper to blue, and it has (OH-). NaOH Na OH-
4
If you want to determine if the solution is acidic or basic you have to use litmus paper. If it's red, pink, and purple that’s acidic or if it is blue, green, and yellow that is base. Also you can use pH and pOH formal: pH= -log{H+} pOH= -log{OH-}
5
pH meter. PH meter is a device used to measure the acid and base in the inducater.
6
My skeleton equation is:
2HCl + mg(OH) MgCl2 + 2H2O. Hydrochloric acid + Magnesium hydroxide Magnesium Chloride + water
7
This is the molecular representation for Mg(OH)2 + 2HCl MgCl2 +2H2O.
H H Cl H H O O Mg Mg Cl O H H H O H cl
8
Strong base: is completely dissolved with water.
Strong acid: is completely dissolved with water. Strong base: is completely dissolved with water. Weak acid: some of it’s particles dissolved with water. Weak base: some of it’s particles dissolved with water.

These are the strong acids and bases

Neutralization reaction in human body.
Every one had before stomach pain and he asked what the thing that makes it goes off. The thing is you have to drunk magnesia milk because in our stomach we produces hydrochloric acid. This acid kills the germs in the food that we ate. When it is time for meal the stomach starts producing acid, since we eat something at mealtime, the acid gets to work but if we don’t eat anything there is nothing for the acid to react with. so it starts to attacking the lining of the stomach. That is what causes pain. So you drunk Magnesia milk because it had magnesium hydroxide. Magnesium hydroxide does not dissolve in water. When you shakin it with water. It forms a milk. When you drank that milk it reacts with the stomach acid to form water and magnesium chloride. The side effect of taking milk of magnesia is that causes diarrhea and water loss. So you should take no more than you need, and be sure to take lots of water.
