General info- Supplies
Many students are missing supplies: Lab journals Markers Pencils Colored pencils Please check with your child regarding his/her state of affairs and be sure they are prepared (ask to see them).

Absences Please remember:
We have 106 students and cannot track who is out on specific days. We ask that if your child is absent, please send him/her to school early so that the teachers can meet with your students be sure he/she has all of the missed material. Assignments are posted on the assignment calendar. We do not send home work early.

Quizzes- minor assessments, announced one week in advance Tests- major assessments, announced one week in advance Quick checks- minor assessments, not always announced, meant to assess current level of knowledge of concepts, some grades replaced after unit test Retake Policy: Major assessments may be re-tested is score is less than 85. Highest score on retest is 85.

Geometry terms should be written in packet as we learn them Classifying Quadrilaterals and Triangles Polygon, Quadrilateral, Parallelogram, Rhombus, Rectangle, Square, Kite, Trapezoid Equilateral, Isosceles, Scalene Started Conversions Today Do typically have homework M-Th Office Hours: Every Wednesday with me, every Tuesday with Mrs. Griffin Retake Policy: Major assessments usually replace minor assessment grades Encourage your child to become comfortable with asking for help! TAG Math - Mrs. Viveros Geometry
