FOUNDER OF OPERANT CONDITIONING
The founder of operant conditioning is B.F. Skinner Skinner said most behaviour takes place voluntarily-before being triggered by external events. He believed classical conditioning cannot explain these types of behaviours. His famous experiment involving mice in a cage with a leaver highlighted how rewards reinforce behaviour. REWARDS (REINFORCEMENT) 1. POSITIVE REWARD (REINFORCEMENT) -Giving something in order to encourage a behaviour to continue Positive = giving something Reward = encouraging a behaviour to continue E.g.
