Declarative Sentence A declarative sentence is a telling sentence It tells the reader something. Example: The ship sailed across the ocean. A declarative sentence starts with a capital letter and ends with a period.

3 Interrogative Sentence
An interrogative sentence asks the reader something. It begins with a question word. Example: What color is the dog? An interrogative sentence starts with a capital letter and ends with a question mark.

Here’s a few: Were? Do? Could? Can? Who? What? When? Are? May? Where? Why? Should? Is? How? Did? Would? Which? Does? Was?
