Overview Qatar National Vision 2030 aims at transforming Qatar into an advanced country by 2030, capable of sustaining its own development, and provided a framework within which national strategies and implementation plans can be developed The need to build internal capacity and capability within the healthcare workforce is crucial for long-term sustainability of high-quality care in Qatar.

Overview In 2014, HMC had a vision of creating a regional Master’s program that would support the next generation of experts in the science of health systems improvement. Hamad Healthcare Quality Institute was nominated to lead this initiative Negotiations with Qatar University reached a proposal to integrate the improvement science in the Masters in Public Health (MPH) Program.

Overview Need assessment survey was conducted, and the response exceeded all expectations (more than 1000 participants expressed their interest to apply) The MPH was launched in September 2015; Health Systems Improvement (HSI) track started on 19th September 2016 Two students have graduated so far from this track
