Mojave By Mayte Pompa and Shelia Hernandez

2 Location The location is southeastern California. They lived in the Mojave Desert. The climate was hot.

3 Shelter The shelter is made out of willow, strong grass, and straw. Their homes are called thatched huts.

4 Food The food they eat was deer, rabbits , beavers , fish and meat. They grew pumpkin, tomatoes, carrots, and beans. They drank the juice from cactus plants.

5 Culture They made dolls and pots out of clay . They made boats out of wood. They use beads to make clothing.
