On-Demand is an optional assessment that English II students will take in May. All prompts on the On-Demand assessment are narrative. The passage based portion is 90 minutes. The stand alone portion is 40 minutes. The On-Demand is no big deal and it doesn’t matter how I score. The assessment is scored using a 4 point rubric.

Essay Read the section titled “Writing situation” first. Underline key words. Then read the “Writing directions”. What is the prompt asking you to do? What is the purpose of the task? Who is the audience? Read “Temperance and Choices”. Make notes. Write essay.
