5 themes Branding Initial joint recruitment campaign and future promotion; Considering aligning recruitment processes – joint branding. Leadership Deliver a skills and leadership development programme for care providers, including securing mentoring opportunities. Valuing Staff Extending the current use and approach to value based recruitment; Identifying best practice and tools to help employers build a sense of community and belonging amongst their staff teams and a welfare support offer; Exploring options for staff incentives including a long-term service award for care staff and a recognition badge for care staff; A ‘gold standard’ for staff induction.

Career development Shape a career pathway for unregistered care workers, including the development of a sector-wide training offer by way of a sector passport; Develop care certificates within Oxfordshire, as part of a care passport and the development of an Excellence Centre; Develop an Oxfordshire-branded career ladder with a direct links to current roles and available job opportunities (including apprenticeship); Using expertise and experience in the system scope the potential to introduce ‘advanced practitioner roles’. Accommodation and transport Explore options for expanding housing and accommodation Key worker housing; Shared ownership; Look at options for grants and investment in EV ready for zero-emissions.
