Investigator completes research project intake form and 1 page concept paper (fellows eligible but must have Newborn Medicine mentor)
Intake form & concept paper reviewed by Newborn Medicine clinical research triage team: Newborn Medicine and CRC biostatistician and project manager within 2 weeks
Investigator works with collaborators/mentors and/or CRC to refine protocol, determine staffing needs and budget
Investigator submits full application to Division of Newborn Medicine
Quarterly scientific review* or off-cycle review with justification
