2 “Fellowship” Vincent’s Word Studies –
A relation between individuals which involves a common interest A mutual, active participation in that interest AND in each other. Sharing material needs (Acts 2:44-45; 4:32). Cooperative effort of each member.

3 In the way of fellowship
Formality (1 Cor 14:40) Absence (Heb 10:25) Minimizing one’s importance (1 Cor 12:12-27) Personality clashes (Jas 3:13-18) Conflicting goals (Ti 2:1-10; Ro 12:1-2)

4 Getting into fellowship
Fervent love (1 Pet 4:7-8) Hospitality (1 Pet 4:9) Concern for all (1 Cor 12:24-26) Concern for the spirit (Jas 5:16, 19-20) Teach through song (Col 3:16) Serve in love (Gal 5:13-14; Phil 2:4-5)

5 The strength of our fellowship with one another is an indicator of the strength of our fellowship with our Father in heaven & our Lord.

6 Enhancing fellowship Learn everyone’s name.
Notice joys, sorrows & needs. Pray & act in a constructive ways. Be “Approachable” Be “Transparent”
